About Scott Fuoco

I'm a React Front End developer currently taking AWS Solutions Architect and Developer courses. I'm really interested in Serverless computing and I'm practicing by building RESTful APIs and microservices using the Serverless Framework ( https://serverless.com ). For databases I'm learning and working with DynamoDB and PostgreSQL. And right now Javascript is my primary programming language but I'm starting to look at Python and Go.

    At AdPerfect I work on a small team tasked with converting a monolithic PHP application into multiple node microservices deployed to a Kubernetes (K8s) Cluster. We use AWS as our cloud provider and utilise Terraform to create the necessary AWS infrastructure to set up a K8s cluster with scalable worker nodes. Within our K8s cluster we use Helm to manage deployments of all our applications as well as our CICD, monitoring, and logging tools.
