I advised insurance industry clients on a wide range of complex legal matters, including regulatory compliance, transactional issues, litigation avoidance strategies, commercial contract disputes, and complex litigation in state and federal courts as well as in arbitral forums. I advised insurtech clients on formation, licensing, product development and distribution, reinsurance, sales and marketing, e-commerce, vendor and other commercial agreements, complaints before state departments of insurance, and regulatory risks under multijurisdictional insurance, privacy, and consumer regulations. I worked with clients to navigate state and federal regulations while employing embedded insurance, big data, artificial intelligence and machine learning, algorithmic models, blockchain, Internet of Things, and innovative e-commerce strategies.I also devised and implemented legal strategies in all stages of litigation, regularly appearing before state and federal courts as well as arbitration panels. I worked with my clients to successfully manage pretrial litigation and position each case for favorable resolution by dispositive motion, trial, or settlement. I also achieved successful outcomes in cases involving attorney malpractice, personal injury, Telephone Consumer Protection Act claims, intellectual property claims, consumer mortgages, and landlord-tenant disputes.

My practice as an associate in the Global Insurance and Litigation department covered a lot of areas. I wrote memoranda and letters advising insurance clients on coverage issues regarding excess, specialty, property, and CGL policies. I also drafted legal briefs, complaints, pretrial motions, memoranda, and discovery requests in various matters.
