Worked in construction management team on the BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd Greenfield Plant project. This is a BMW joint venture car plant located in Shenyang, China. Worked with major Chinese construction contractors and the Chinese design institute in senior project management role.

Project Engineer for the owner of a 490 MW coal fired power plant. The project refurbished an existing wet FGD scrubber for SOx and mercury compliance. This was a project management and quality assurance role on behalf of owner working with engineering and construction contractors. Approximately 100 MM capital cost. Scope included the addition of a waste.

Dow Corning Third Pillar Phase 2 – As Engineering Manager led combined Fluor and Chinese Design Institute engineering team based in Shanghai. Project scope included major utilities and infrastructure, tank farm and incinerator package for an integrated siloxane production facility. Plant located in Zhangjiagang, China.

LDK Solar Polysilicon – As Project Engineer executed various portfolio assignments managing multi-disciplinary teams for 15,000 mtpa polycrystalline silicon plant. Also coordinated interfaces between dispersed engineering centers. Plant located in Jiangxi Province, China.

Luminant Oak Grove Plant – Designed balance of plant systems for 2x850 MW coal fired power plant. P&IDs issued IFR, IFD and IFC. Led process discipline oversight of subcontract to design and construct new air quality control system for vintage 1970s supercritical units for new air permit to include wet FGD scrubbers, SCR for NOx removal, carbon injection.

Angola LNG FEED – Systems design for six plant units including power generation, flare system, fuel gas, diesel and pentane storage, water, and waste water treatment. P&IDs issued IFA and IFF.Shell Athabasca Oil Sands Upgrader Expansion – Systems design and hydraulic circuit analysis including calculations for pump and compressor sizing. Also carried out.
