Manage firm’s flagship Cube Global Multi-Strategy Fund (CGMS) with $1B+ in peak assets. Oversee all investment, research, and due diligences processes, investing in both hedge / long-only funds as well as directly in equity / credit securities, and derivatives for macro trading. Member of Senior Management Committee driving firm’s day-to-day operations and long-term strategic direction. Promoted to Partner in 2010. Lead 5-person team.Developed and implemented innovative “hybrid” methodology incorporating analysis and trading of direct instruments for both macro (overlay) and equity / fixed income securities with traditional fund-of-funds investment process, leading $1B+ flagship Cube Global Multi-Strategy Fund to outperform benchmarks over course of last 9 years as Portfolio Manager at Cube Capital.Formalized/institutionalised investment processes, built out team, implemented centralized investment research platform (Code:Red), and improved back-office functions, developing capability to deliver institutional-level product.Won $450M+ in new mandates from U.S. and European institutional investors as well as from well-known Middle Eastern sovereign wealth funds. Built in-house macroeconomic research process, trading infrastructure, and resources, allowing for development of proprietary macro views and execution capabilities on par with those of high quality hedge funds.Oversaw development of in-house macro modelling (Macrobond) and framework to apply our thematic framework through liquid market instruments (effectively a type of macro/GTAA for enhanced liquidity)Played instrumental role in launch of $120M event-driven hedge fund (Cube Global Opportunities Fund), delivering annualised returns of 14% since 2009 inception.
