• Conduct communication systems planning for Military operations both Domestic and International.• Provision and preparation of briefing material to key Senior Defence Leadership.• Engagement with key stakeholders for introduction into service of CIS equipment.• Liaison with Defence projects teams and CASG.• Provision of CISEW planning advice for complex Military operations.• Battlespace Electromagnetic Spectrum management.• Prepare, configure, deploy and operate equipment including commercial off the shelf and military off the shelf (COTS/MOTS) telephony equipment.• Perform network operations including combat net radio, command support systems, tactical satellite systems and force protection electronic counter measure systems (FPECM).• Manage the rectification of CIS services during outages and coordinating the restoration or replacement of systems where available.• Management and provision of technical advice on communications projects for future capability.• Provide liaison with external agencies for provision of communication services and capability.• Organise and conduct stakeholder workshops with external communication companies contracting to Defence on development opportunities and project updates.
