Scott Goeden is the Managing Partner of Reference Point. In his role, Scott helps financial services clients assess and redesign their organizations, navigate large-scale technology transformations, and optimize complex business processes. He is well regarded as a high energy strategic leader that drives teams to consistently deliver projects on time and under budget. He helps firms deliver initiatives by building teams that pair the right balance of executive-level industry experience, analytical capabilities, and most importantly humility in execution. In addition to his client responsibilities, Scott is focused on building new service offerings for Reference Point, recruiting top-tier talent, establishing corporate partnerships, and aligning the firm’s corporate strategy to industry demands. His interests and pursuits span across multiple disciplines ranging from advanced data analytics to the rapidly-evolving dependency on new technologies in the financial services industry. Prior to consulting, Scott began his career in Investment Banking in Debt Capital Markets, where he was inspired to pursue an education in Financial Engineering to gain an end-to-end understanding of complex financial products and services. Scott holds a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from Columbia University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Virginia in Systems Engineering, where he graduated with High Distinction.
