As a Curriculum Leader I am responsible for teacher leadership, development, industry certification and the expansion/support of the career education classes. Serving also as the CTI Specialist, my role includes providing special education support to identified students with an Individualized Education Plan and appropriate career and technical teachers in whose class the student is enrolled.

Founder/Director of Camp2Community, a specially designed enrichment program for students with disabilities. The program focuses of four vital areas of instruction, specifically targeting inherent weaknesses in the common core curriculum in relation to the specific needs of people with disabilities. This enrichment program is a collaboration between therapists, non profits, volunteer organizations, certified professionals and special educators.www.camp2community.com

A Community Trainer helps deliver individualized training activities designed to assist adults with disabilities to explore and become acquainted with their community as well as learn the new skills necessary to become full, valued participants in local groups, associations, and resources.

The primary responsibility of a Counselor at Camp ASCCA is to provide care for clients ranging in age from nine to seventy-five years old. Care includes dressing, toileting, feeding, transfers, assisting nurses, logging and recording seizure reports and data on the care given. Counselors also aide in running the programs offered to our clients which include rock-climbing, horseback riding, swimming, zip-line, tubing, water skiing, scuba diving, archery, and skeet shooting. Counselors help ensure that all the proper supports are provided and safety measures are taken.
