As a key adviser to Concannon Miller's leadership, I support firm operations by researching, assessing, recommending and implementing technology solutions for the firm; protect firm and client data by researching, recommending and implementing changes to standards and procedures to enhance systems security; manage vendors to ensure effective network administration and help desk performance; serve as project manager for technology-related projects and enhance user and client experiences by optimizing technology solutions.

Most small businesses do not have the financial resources or need to hire a full-time IT employee. My company 'hires me out' to our clients so they can get the IT help they need at a fraction of the cost of a full-time employee. I provide networking services, server configuration, workstation configuration and troubleshooting. I also work with your ISP to troubleshoot your internet connection to get your business online again. Finally, I provide QuickBooks assistance as I have been a Certified Pro Adviser with Intuit.Along with client responsibilities, I am also responsible for heading up the IT department at PBGW which includes: configuring and being responsible for the company's computing infrastructure, assist with helpdesk support, configuring and monitoring the company's network security, perform incident response and remediation as necessary, documenting IT policies and procedures then communicating them to the company, negotiating contracts with outside vendors such as internet providers, managing the phone system and providing the future direction of technology at the company then communicating that future direction to the firm's Executive Committee and entire company.

Responsible for the Technical Services Department which managed the bank's internal network, servers, workstations and ATMs (Automated Teller Machines). Along with managing the PCs and servers, my department was responsible for managing and creating various custom database applications which supplimented information not necessarily available from the bank's mainframe.Another area of responsibilty was insuring the bank's security with regard to the PCs and ATM network was in compliance with federal regulations. As a result, my department was subject to regular technology audits by a branch of the Federal Treasury (the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency). I also participated in the bank's strategic planning committee.

Responsible for effective installation, implementation, operation and maintenance of all PCs, LANs, terminals and related computer equipment. Troubleshoots data communication problems involving PCs, LANs, terminals and related computer equipment. Evaluates and purchases new computer equipment and software for the bank. Gives inner-bank technical support relating to computer hardware and software. Creates applications using BASIC and database software when needed. Trains bank personnel in using application packages such as Lotus 1-2-3 and WordPerfect. Serves as a member of the Data Processing Steering Committee.

Assists in helping troubleshoot any data communication problems within the bank. Installs new computer equipment. Troubleshoots new and existing computer equipment. Trains bank personnel in using computer equipment. Responsible for automating the Customer Service Representatives’ desk (Office Automation/Document Preparation.)

Entering transactions for new and existing accounts, assembling, processing and inputting non-Micr transactions and Micr reject documents. Summarizing, controlling, and settling all transactions received for input.
