Footprint Power LLC is dedicated to optimizing the remaining value of older, coal- and oil-fired electric generating facilities for existing owners in light of new economic and environmental realities. Footprint Power works with existing owners to identify opportunities to enhance the value of the assets on disposition or redevelopment and to address their environmental legacy. Footprint Power may acquire the assets itself, help the owners find other buyers or work with the owners to create new strategic directions for the assets within their existing portfolio. Whatever direction we take with the assets, we will carefully structure the transactions to preserve value and reduce risks for existing owners. We work closely with governmental, environmental and community stakeholders to prepare the sites for redevelopment either as modern, more environmentally-friendly power generation facilities or as properties that will otherwise maximize the value of the sites to future owners while benefiting the local community.
