● Maintained technical responsibility for the Initiate master data management platform, a high-scale operational platform with statistically-based probabilistic matching and data modeling capabilities and hundreds of active deployments both before and after Initiate’s acquisition by IBM in 2010● Managed more than 15 domestic and outsourced engineers in developing a platform composed on an RDBMS-backed service of heterogeneous components implemented in C, C++, Java, .NET, and SOAP APIs● Established a range of development processes, including coding standards, source control, and code reviews, driving the creation of automated unit and smoke testing, and uniform automated builds across platform components● Served as a key point of contact between engineering and other departments by providing technical consulting to sales teams, assisting in the resolution of “code red” support escalations, and collaborating with product management on feature and function enumeration and scope● Designed, led, and implemented numerous platform enhancements, including the Unicode enablement of legacy 100,000-line matching engine, server extension API for field extension capabilities, and enterprise-grade security with OpenSSL, JSSE, and role-based access control through LDAP directory server integration
