Management and Direction of the Lab Systems department at CPI Corporation (formally PCA International). Responsible for the development, maintenance and support of end-to-end systems solutions supporting a robust manufacturing environment which produces optical, digital and hybrid photographic products. Environment includes approximately 100 applications which are required to manage company workflows and processes. Management and Direction of two critical departments within the company, the Technical Support Help Desk and the Computer Repair Department, as well as software engineering for Field use. During this tenure I was responsible for the Field software development (retail Point of Sales software), support and analysis of Field Software deployments, including management of company assets such as computer systems, cameras and lighting systems.

As Director of Software Engineering and Software Testing for the Field Systems department, I was responsible for managing the design, development, testing and deployment processes for the company's Field Software Suite (Point of Sales systems). This software suite was varied by multiple Operating Systems (Windows and DOS), and by Business Division. Software updates occurred on a Marketing cycle, which was on an average of every 4 weeks. The number of versions of software required for these updates averaged 12 per update, however as many as 30 versions had been developed and successfully distributed to the Field in a single update cycle.

Managed and mentored software development teams, participated hands-on in the SDLC for software updates and new Field software projects. During this period, a complete Field Software system revision was initiated, with introduction of a Microsoft Windows platform and a new stand-alone retail chain known as "GoPortraits", introducing the company to Digital Portrait Photography processes.

Developed new software applications and maintained the in-house software with updates for all Field locations utilizing systems in Wal-Mart, Meijer and Aurrera locations internationally. These software versions were implemented in approximately 2200 locations in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
