During my time working for Lancashire Constabulary I was responsible for all communications and IT equipment including associated software within the Eastern Division of the force. I performed duties including 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support working to a strict SLA and also assisted in the roll out of division wide projects. Most notably I was heavily involved in the force wide deployment of a PDA device to every front line officer. This allowed secure connections to IT services from anywhere the officer may be whilst on duty.
