Senior IT HelpZone Advisor acting as the first line in NESCol's IT Helpdesk for students. Personal Responsibilities include: Programming, maintenance and generating of SQL reports for Helpdesk statistics.Role Responsibilities include: Managing and maintaining both a paper filing system for students forms and a ticketing system, interacting with students to assess and solve problems with their devices or college accounts, distribution of NESCol's BYOD scheme with additional responsibilities to receive and redistribute returned devices and training of new hires

- Under the guidance of the Supply Chain Manager; source suppliers suitable for the company line with current and potential future requirements. - Liaising with suppliers as and when required to maintain and develop relationships. - Negotiating best price possible and ensuring accurate and timely delivery. - Hasten & expedite orders to ensure that all promised delivery times from approved vendors are monitored & met. - Monitoring existing purchasing procedures to ensure that the procurement process is effective, & identify any procedural improvements. - Assisting with the processing of appropriate requisitions as required. Basic knowledge of mechanical / electrical / piping / raw structural materials, and the certification required to comply with QA/QC requirements. - The timely processing of requisitions, RFQ’s, quotes & the issue of purchase orders to suppliers as required. - Ensuring that necessary purchasing or vendor information is distributed verbally, written or electronically to key personnel regarding placed requisitions / purchase orders. - Raising and assisting with the requisition process, & to make sure that all relevant information is available to purchasing department for the correct equipment / materials to be ordered. - Helping manage any commercially sensitive vendor information ensuring that information held is up to date and accurate. - Helping monitor vendor performance, quality, delivery, etc. - Under guidance from Supply Chain Manager; Monitoring vendors list & ensuring that vendors list is appropriate for company requirements at all times, and that vendor audits are sufficient.- Maintaining filing system to Auditable standards and various other adminstrative duties- Attending pre-approval meetings as required

I procure Materials and Documentation based on Material Requisitions from WGPSN Engineers. I also deal with day to day issues with various Purchase Orders, advise Engineering and Management on Supply Chain activities and keep in regular contact with Vendors.My Responsibilities are as follows:· Delivery of material procurement service in a safe, timely, and cost effective manner, in line with contractual requirements, to the satisfaction of clients and to WGPSN.· Preparing and issuing RFQs, EOIs, and Purchase Orders using only WGPSN approved Suppliers.· Preparing commercial bid evaluations and recommendations for materials purchases.· Maintaining filing system to Auditable standards and various other adminstrative duties· Assisting with sourcing new vendors and ensuring procedures are followed with respect to vendor evaluation and setup. · Commercial and contractual administration of Purchase Orders through to close-out.· Participate in personal development / training to further enhance skills and capabilities within the Procurement and Materials Team.· Attending pre-approval meetings as required· Ensure all applicable processes and management systems are adhered to.· Act honestly and fairly in accordance with WGPSN’s Code of Ethics and in support of WGPSN’s Core Values.· Foster an environment of openness, trust, and honesty in support of WGPSN’s core values.· Foster good relationships with internal customers, sub-contractors and suppliers.
