Ronawk created Bio-Blocks, the first 3D printed hydrogel substrate that allow researchers to create complex cell structures that mimic tissue. With over 60 cell lines cultured/co-cultured, these tissue-mimetic structures produce more and higher quality tissue/biologics, appear to proliferate indefinitely without subcultures, and provide a better platform for assay and diagnostic development.
