GE-Hitachi (GEH) is a market leader in the Nuclear Industry, offering products, services, new power plant (NPP) solutions, and digital solutions. As the Marketing Strategy Intern, I worked to:• Aid in the development of a Marketing Plan across the business segments. This included conducting market environment analysis, breakdown of competitive position, SWOT analysis, and developing strategic initiatives that supported the goals of the business segments as well as the larger GEH business unit. • Implement and maintain the GEH's Installed Base (IB). The IB was utilized as a "one-stop-shop" for industry statistics by offering comprehensive information concerning: reactor, company, OEM, capacity, and other relevant information. Included in the IB Report were GE relevant financial analytics, forecasting methods, and operational efficiency metrics. The database was later connected to to GEH ERP systems. • Deliver regular market intelligence reports through in-depth industry analysis and data analytics. These reports were given on a weekly, quarterly, and as needed basis. Research and the resulting reports or presentations were both customer and internal facing, and included topics such as: market environment/analysis, product or service positioning, competitor intelligence, and new products development or market entry.

Seahawk Innovation is the intermediary between private equity firms, primarily large VC's, and potential firms wishing to be financed. Our customers came from both sides of the spectrum; equity firms looking to buy and smaller firms looking to be financed. My role encompassed the following:• Conducted extensive market research to identify businesses meeting specific matching criteria as specified by customers. Criteria ranged from size, industry, financial earnings, business strategy. • Business valuation based on revenue, EBITDA, industry, and market analysis • Reach out to potential clients to begin the investment process

• Worked closely with local farmers to build awareness to new government policies and how they would effect local produce production and sale. • Regularly posted about new policies and issues on the school’s sustainability webpage, assisted on the Davidson College Farm to grow/harvest produce, and was responsible for the maintenance of the school compost machine

• Worked with a team of Italian archeologists to excavate, date, and analyze extensive findings from the ancient Roman city of Salapia, ranging in dates from 100 B.C.E to 1100 C.E.
