Vendor selection for many product development teams requires exceeding previous performance limitations while introducing new features. With a depth of technical knowledge and a breadth of understanding relevant tradeoffs, I was able to convincingly persuade customer development teams to trust AMD processors and my team for successful implementation. Products spanned industries from data storage systems with massive numbers of drives and storage capacity to highly secure computing platforms utilizing secure boot and secure execution environments. I also participated in the One Laptop per Child project intended to create an affordable computer for children in the developing world. Some of our products resulted in shipments of 500 units, while some shipped 5 million. -
