Scott Hutcheson is a biosocial scientist and senior lecturer at Purdue University. His most recent book, Strategic Doing: Ten Skills for Agile Leadership was released in 2019 by Wiley. It became a #1 Amazon New Release in six different categories and appeared and on multiple lists as one of the Best Business Books of that year. Scott is currently working on a three-book series (also for Wiley) on the biodynamics of leadership, teams, and organizations. The first book in the series, Biohacking Leadership: Leveraging the Biology of Behavior to Maximize Your Impact will be released in 2025.Scott is an in-demand speaker, frequently giving keynotes and leading workshops at conferences and other events. His TED Talk on the "Science of Prospection" has been viewed more than 1.3 million times on YouTube. His Instagram account @bookscotttospeak has nearly 30,000 followers.Scott is married to Lisa Hutcheson who works in mental health policy. Lisa is the other co-founder of Hutcheson Associates. Her work focuses on public policy and advocacy. Scott and Lisa have two adult sons, Henry and Oliver and two dogs named Pippa and Cosette. Scott and Lisa reside near Indianapolis, Indiana in the historic Town of Ulen.
