I am the Chief Operations Officer for Rev.1 Engineering and have worked in the medical device industry since 1997. My medical device experience ranges from new product development, sustaining engineering, operations and engineering management. I have experience working for start-ups, medium and large medical device companies. I have been involved in all aspects of medical device product development from concept initiation, prototyping, device and process development, pre-clinical evaluation, clinical trials, ramp up and full commercial production. In addition, I have experience with internal and contract manufacturing. I am named on over 20 U.S. patents and have been involved with the development of class I, II & III medical devices including: EP mapping catheters, guide wires, coronary and carotid embolic protections systems, coronary and peripheral stents and delivery systems, peripheral and coronary drug eluting and pro-healing stents, balloon dilatation catheters, aspiration catheters, intravascular ultrasound catheters, wound closure devices, ophthalmic equipment, and cancer therapy delivery systems.
