I conduct public affairs and strategic communications consulting to produce results for Fortune 500 clients in various industries including aviation and wireless telecommunications.My aviation experience includes: ● Representing Northwest Airlines for four years as West Coast media spokesman and community relations liaison in Anchorage, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. I worked closely with executive management teams in corporate communications, federal and state government affairs, passenger sales, and cargo marketing in the United States and Asia. ● Directing a regional coalition of high-profile stakeholders to successfully block a campaign by Southwest Airlines to establish a new hub operation at Boeing Field. ● Current aviation portfolio includes: 1) external government relations counsel to Delta Air Lines to support extensive growth of the international and domestic hub operation at Sea-Tac Airport, 2) external government relations counsel to Clear Channel Airports and, 3) external government relations counsel to Bradford Airport Logistics. The wireless telecom industry has turned to me extensively to secure public support across the United States for residential cell site deployment in the face of sophisticated and costly NIMBY opposition. I currently provide strategic counsel to AT&T Mobility in Northern California to assist with community engagement in support of small cell deployment. I have also worked with T-Mobile USA, AT&T Mobility, Verizon Wireless, and others to:● Implement political campaign-style strategies to identify and engage target audiences to advocate for new cell sites.● Create collateral, messaging toolkits and strategic campaign plans for client use at state and local level. ● Direct public opinion polling and moderate numerous focus groups in key national markets. ● Build coalitions to educate key audiences about importance of wireless communications and necessity for residential cell sites.

Managed several projects for Seattle communications and public affairs firm. Served as liaison to regional and national corporate clients. Directed relationships with third-party vendors and other internal and external project team members. Guided on-location video shoots and production, public opinion research, development and implementation of public policy strategy.

Washington, Dc

Directed all operations in the Washington, D.C. office of a 10-term member of Congress. Administered $1M annual operating budget. Managed congressman's successful re-election campaign, directing staff and volunteers, media relations, political consultant and pollster. Appointed by Clerk of the US House of Representatives to serve as Administrator – Oklahoma Sixth District overseeing services of retired member of Congress during the interim period prior to a special election to fill the vacancy. Directed all operations and staff of Washington, D.C. office and three district offices in Oklahoma.

Excelled as senior staff member responsible for policy development and implementation in the areas of education, science and technology, economic development, and political and intergovernmental affairs. Served as Governor’s primary liaison to numerous state agencies, boards, and commissions; acted as liaison with members of Congress, The White House, federal agencies, Southern Governors’ Association, and the National Governors’ Association.
