This role entailed managing nine staff comprising: four senior relationship managers, three relationship managers, one account executive and one graduate. This business segment focussed on businesses with turnovers of between $500k to $30 million. The business assisted customers with a full range of business banking and consumer related needs.The business had multiple channels of delivery for this segment, ranging from the internal retail branch network, to corporate branch referrals and also the external referrals from business partners such as accountants, commercial brokers and other business partners.My role had a business management and business development focus, whilst having to negotiate effectively with a variety of stakeholders as one would expect in a major banking environment. I focussed our growth in our desired industry verticals, being: professionals, manufacturing and wholesaling and general business banking.
