WeGotNext amplifies individual stories of adventure and activism from communities that have been underrepresented in outdoor, conservation, and environmental spaces.Our vision is a world where everyone is inspired to fall in love with nature because they see reflections of themselves in outdoor spaces, for it is those of us who love nature who care enough to protect nature.

As a member of the first African American Team to climb Denali, I travel the country speaking to audiences about the growing effort to highlight the significance of Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) in outdoor spaces. I have a broad speaking skillset, from short talks with climbing gear to groups of school aged children to more in-depth panel discussions on the cultural shifts within companies and organizations needed for equatable growth. From Ferguson, MO middle schools, to Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, I am able to develop a speaking format catered to all audiences.

I served as a champion, strategic community partner, and thought leader for justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. I developed relevant approaches that are aligned with Patagonia's purpose, principles, and values. I formed long-term partnerships between HQ leadership and community-led organizations and nonprofits to support cultural growth and change within the company.

Managed retail store’s grantmaking process, allocating approximately $100,000 to local nonprofits. Identified and onboarded new community partners into the Patagonia ecosystem and created events and activations to ensure the store and its employees had a long-term relationship with community partners. Lead local and corporate events at the store with a focus on grassroots, community activism

Through market research and communications, I identified and organized events focused on new markets and communities NOLS had not yet been ingaged with. I coordinated travel and event logistics for a 9 person climbing team who presented at schools, non-profits and other well suited organizations to increase exposure to NOLS.
