Complete ownership of all things Citrix. Responsible for the design, implementation and support of internal employee’s virtual desktops and applications. Administration of underlying infrastructure including; XenApp, XenDesktop, StoreFront, Netscaler ADC, EdgeSight monitoring, Windows Server 2008/20012 R2, and System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) 2008/20012. Also responsible for Unisys’ internal lab environment consisting of VMWare ESX, vCenter and EMC storage. Served as a backup administrator to Unisys mobility solutions which includes mobile VDI, BlackBerry BES, and support for iOS, Android and Windows mobile devices.

Support of IBM Development Labs. Administration for the entire Infrastructure surrounding IBM Cloud Compute global development. Heavy administration of VMware ESX/ESXi, Citrix XenServer, and Red Hat KVM to support virtualization initiatives within the lab. Network administration of Cisco Nexus 5000/ 2000 series switches and, Juniper SRX650/240, EX4000/800 switches. Setup and configuration of IBM x-Series iDataPlex/3650/3850 Servers. NetApp Storage administration. Primary Citrix administrator for XenDesktop5/XenApp6/NetScaler. Lead administrator for Windows and Linux host patching using WSUS and Red Hat Yum repositories. Managed installation and administration of Cisco mobile Wide Area Acceleration Solutions (WAAS) POC. Administration of Citrix Cloud.com infrastructure for IaaS.

Manage desktop imaging (Windows XP/7) using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) 2007/2010. Managed the creation of HP Thin Client Images (Windows Embedded Standard) via HP Thin State. Administrator of Citrix XenDesktop 4.0. Utilized Citrix Provisioning Server to create, distribute, and maintain Virtual Desktop Images/Templates. Managed deployment of HP and 10zig thin clients.Administrator of Engineering Desktop lab environment. Created POC and Sandbox test environments for Engineering including robust virtualization infrastructures consisting of VMWare ESX, Citrix XenServer, and Microsoft Hyper-V. Created server environments made up of Windows Server 2003/2008. Built a variety of HP DL380 Servers including, SMTP, File/Print, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, WSUS and SCCM 2007Lead Administrator for company desktop backup solutions using Iron Mountain Connected Backup PC.Backup and Restore administrator for back office servers using Veritas Backup Exec.
