As a senior at Indiana University, I am continuing my interest in the financial markets by pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Financial Literacy from the Kelley School of Business. Ever since my experience as president of my high school's Stock Market Club, I have been involved in analyzing financial trends and portfolio investments. During this time, I won the SIFMA Stock Market Competition three years in a row, coming in first place in the tri-state area out of 3,065 teams each year. Through this position, I developed leadership traits, strategic thought, and communication skills. The responsibility and success I had then gave me the skills I needed to streamline my passion into a defined college path to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in economics. With time, however, my skills have given me the tools to think logically and problem solve, using data systems such as Microsoft access, excel, CAI AxisGIS and many others.
