My designs included selecting new lower cost technologies, generating code, interfacing with customers for their needs, creating schematics and price sensitive BOMs, laying out the Printed Circuit Boards, writing all the specifications/plans, and training individuals and groups for product use and manufacturing.Another product I created was a laser scanner controller where 100,000 are sold per year. I created the schematics, BOMs, layouts, test plans, specifications and manufacturing processes. These scanners are used internationally for systems such as ophthalmic diagnostics, dental models, 3D replication, visual displays and geographical mapping.
