Technology Innovator & Ambassador
CurrentAt SUNY Upstate's Air Upstate & Upstate Robotics departments, I identify, research, recommend, and assist with implementing new technology and automation for use at SUNY Upstate. These technologies include Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS / Drones), VR headsets, exoskeletons, wearables, and other emerging technologies.I act as an ambassador and champion during rollouts, educating and exciting employees and patients about these new technologies with a focus on enhancing adoption rates and user experience (UX). I also collect user feedback from end users to improve procedures, modify workflows, and modify infrastructure as necessary.
Pc Support Specialist
While in the PC Support role, I focused on being the "friendly face of IT" for the Cardiology and Radiology departments. I worked closely with Cardiology management and staff to provide advice for requests, manage IT projects through to completion, and troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues in the department. I schedule over 700 youth hockey games each season for a hundred teams across Central New York, the Southern Tier, and parts of Northern New York.
