Currently working on deploying servers running RHEL 7.x and PostgreSQL 11/12. The PostgreSQL will be used to migrate various databases that have been running on other relational databases but have been having performance issues. Secure connections are enforced by using X.509 certification. Many of the systems are importing their data from Hadoop storage facilities.Responsible for a server farm of over 750 servers running CentOS 6 and 7 and RHEL 7, also several Windows Server 2012-R2. The backbone on the network are Dell servers that are collecting huge amounts of information for purposes of Big Data Analytics. A majority of the servers are using a Hadoop configuration with server management being performed by using Nagios and Splunk.
