Firstly working with a team of 28 sales team members in a cold call environment selling Telstra consumer products to managing and leading a team of 30 sales team members in an inbound environment selling Alinta Energy consumer and SME products across the east coast and then finally leading a team of 10 live chat team members within the Alinta Energy consumer and SME east coast space.Achievements:Achieving top sales team for Telstra 3 months in a row by working with the team and helping them grow to their highest potential.Building a team of 30 sales team members and ensuring all compliance checks whilst hitting sales targets for Alinta Energy by setting up compliance folders and coaching on sales structures and processes.Working with the live chat team to open the live chat from just QLD to QLD, Vic, NSW and SA within 2 months and increasing from 40 customers per day to 200 customers per day over the live chat. This was accomplished by working with Alinta Energy and ensuring all targets were hit to ensure 95% customer satisfaction daily.Taking on a new campaign for win back customers on the east coast starting with only 2 team members and increasing the team to 4 and performing a hand over to a junior team leader.

Taking over workshop duties from the Director of the company, ensuring all fabrication work is fully fabricated and fully welded to CAD drawings. Working closely with the team to ensure that they have all the equipment required to complete their daily tasks. I was held accountable for all workshop tradesmen, their equipment and the work that they performed and fabricated. I was also held accountable for the stock of consumables that the workshop and on site tradesmen needed.Achievements:Building an in house office for supervisors and director within the workshop - On this project I fabricated and built an office space for myself and the Director in the workshop on a 1st floor level so we could over see the fabrication and production line whilst performing any paper work or scheduling duties.Re-fabricating 5 flights of mild steel hand rail with an apprentice in Bunbury - Myself and the apprentice travelled down to Bunbury for a 2 day job of fitting out 5 flights of handrails on 5 separate fire exits on a new build development. Once we arrived we realised that the hand rails had been fabricated to CAD drawing and fitting to steel staircases that were not fitted by our company and all the sizes were incorrect and needed re-fabricated on site. We took an extra day to complete the project but in the end the site representative was impressed with all the hard work that was put in and happy with the outcome.

Working in this medium sized family owned structural steel fabrication company, I was accountable for all structural steel projects from the Director looking after the sales and then passing all documents to myself until full completion. During these tasks I ran each project with a waterfall method but also had a sense of agile to it by using a visual Kanban board for each fabrication on the project. This has been my absolute peak in career where I have excelled myself. I receive all jobs verbally and through email from the Director. Once a job has been received I will examine the cost to know what my budget is for that project and also check for any ‘out of ordinary’ tasks that have to be done that may cost more or take extra time. Once I have examined the project I can then start planning the project from purchasing all materials and consumables to getting the CAD drawings approved to fabrication then the erecting on site and closing the project. When purchasing any structural steel I must always make sure that it is to speculation and the correct grade from S275 to S355 and ensuring any galvanising or primer paint has has been applied before erection.
