I lead PA's Global Insurance business, where I help our clients to bring ingenuity to life. This broadly means that I help clients to innovate with new strategies for growth, digital business models and use of data, as well as then helping them to transform ways of working and approaches to risk and compliance. Over a period of 25 years, I’ve worked pretty extensively across the global insurance market, within personal and commercial lines, wholesale insurance as well as life and pensions. My experience includes:- Building and delivering new strategies for growth, through broader and deep customer relationships- New product and service developments, involving deeper collaboration partnerships with others in the customer’s ecosystem- Adopting digital technologies, AI and Analytics to transform the customer experience and optimise ways of working - Designing and embedding pragmatic and innovative approaches to compliance and risk management that protect customers In addition over the last 13 years or so, I’ve worked directly with UK and European regulators, helping them with their own transformation of ways of working and use of digital technologies in response to developments such as Solvency II, Consumer Credit, PSD2, shifting trends in the pensions landscape and adoption of regulatory sandboxes. I’ve has also acted regularly as a skilled person on section 166 reviews relating to governance, risk and controls.Finally, I play a key role in the development of PA’s Partner Group through my role as Chair of our Partner Election Committee.
