I am a trial lawyer motivated both by an interest in serving people experiencing the judicial system and by a deep appreciation for the art and practice of litigation. Despite my trial skills, I work to resolve cases prior to trial whenever possible. I am a strong advocate for the needs and interests of my clients. Although early in my career, I have been noted for my strong oral advocacy, clear and concise writing, and ability to synthesize issues involving both medical and legal concepts.A significant portion of my experience has been with a firm that has high expectations and extensive training for newer associates, and I have applied that experience mostly in the area of medical malpractice. That focus has allowed me to develop my skills of understanding complex facts and concepts and organizing them in a legal framework.My commitment to litigation and a strong judicial system reaches beyond my professional endeavors to a long-standing commitment to the next generation of attorneys through mock trial programs at the high school, college, and law school levels.
