Reporting to the SVP and later to the CEO, and a member of the Senior Leadership Team reporting to the Executive Committee, I led the business transformation of integrating cultures, business lines, processes and procedures from the three non-regulated merger companies that form Alectra Utilities affiliates (Alectra Utilities is the second largest municipality held utility in North America). Many of the services are directional for power utilities – decentralization (transactive energy), digitalization of the grid, and decarbonization. Services include energy storage, micro-grids, virtual power plants, sub-metering (power, water, and thermal), developing and operating solar PV generation, LED streetlight retrofits, and high-voltage maintenance services.

The company also provides energy management, metering and conservation and demand management services. It has developed a portfolio of solar PV generation projects and substantially expanded its metering client based to the point that it now revenues meters approximately half of the power generated in the province. The company also has a strong focus on distributed energy resources (DER).
