Profile bio

About Scott Kroenke

A skilled leader with more than 20 years of construction experience and 15 years of proven leadership experience. During my time in the Army, I have worked and traveled throughout the Midwest and Pacific Northwest, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. I have done both civilian and military construction. While working construction on the civilian side, I worked for Mid-Continental Construction in Ft. Scott and for my father’s construction company. I have worked throughout the state with Mid-Continental and help build the new Chanute Football Stadium. When I was working with my Dad, we worked in Iola and also Humboldt. During my military career, I started as an equipment operator and then transitioned into larger leadership roles in 2008. I have been the project lead for multi-million dollar projects ranging from subterranean trench warfare complex in Ft Riley, KS; sourcing of maintenance software for the two Hopper Dredges located in the Portland District of the Army Corps of Engineers; urban villages for training in today’s wartime environment in Europe; force protection for polling stations in Mosul, construction of a complete village for joint military forces in Northern Iraq; responsible for the logistics (food, fuel, maintenance, construction material delivery) which supported the construction of Ebola Treatment Facilities in Liberia.I have also been involved in several organizations that focus on the mental health of Veterans and First Responders using the outdoors as the conduit for support. I plan to establish chapters of the same organizations (The Fallen Outdoors, Project Healing Waters, Heroes on the Water) or establish an organization in the local area with a similar focus and vision.

Listed skills include Marksmanship, Risk Assessment, Human Resources, Army, and 15 others.
