As an EFI Group engineer, I am part of a manufacturing engineering services & consulting company that uses the in-depth and broad experience of its employees to solve engineering challenges. With 25 years in manufacturing, I have assisted many teams in improving existing processes, as well as designing and implementing new processes that drive out waste and contribute positively to the bottom line. At EFI Group, we apply practical thinking and strong technical skills, while still allowing for flexibility so good ideas are not missed. I am comfortable working on the shop floor to improve the details of a process, or to understand why a certain part always breaks. I am just as comfortable working with senior management on project conceptualization, cost estimation and execution planning. Some of the industries I have served include: • aluminum smelting and aluminum processing (aerospace, automotive) • building materials (Sheetrock™, asphalt shingles, fiberglass insulation) • cement (mercury reduction) • carbon fiber processing (aerospace) • food (salt, sugar, spices and flavors) • furniture • inorganic minerals • machine tools • medical diagnostics • paper manufacturing, printing and convertingBecause EFI Group's engineering professionals have worked within the manufacturing industry itself, EFI Group is uniquely able to stimulate fresh thinking while bringing a deeper level of understanding with regard to our clients’ larger picture, the risk of failure, and how these impact overall success.
Listed skills include Manufacturing, Engineering, Process Improvement, Continuous Improvement, and 12 others.
