I felt God’s call on my life while on a missions trip to Jamaica. I was about to enter my third year of college, and the Holy Spirit had begun to work on my heart. I was no longer content with teaching music for the rest of my life, and I knew God wanted me to do something more. Through many people on this trip, I realized that God was calling me into full time ministry.

Speed The Light Director
I have worked directly with the Michigan District Youth Director to help raise awareness and support for Speed The Light (STL).STL challenges students to raise money to purchase vehicles and sound equipment for missionaries. My role is to help support Michigan youth pastors in becoming more successful at raising money within their own youth groups. I also generate media (photos, vide, etc...) that I place on the Michigan Speed The Light Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.

My main role at Northville Christian is teaching and mentoring of the 6th - 12th grade students at Northville Christian Assembly. My desire is to see them grow in their relationships with God; to have them learn to give out of the abundance that God has given them; to teach them to go out and use their giftings to administer the gospel; and to proud safe group times that they can relax and invite their friends to.While I have been in charge of the youth ministry, the youth group attendance has doubled from about 25 to 50 students. In 2014 we gave $25,650 to Speed The Light. Our Fine Arts program regularly receives 10 or more merits on the state level, multiple top ten finishes on the national level, and the occasional national merit.In January 2014, I was given the responsibility of the missions portfolio for Northville Christian. I meet with missionaries that are seeking partnership, connect with our current missionaries, and plan youth/adult mission trips.
