I have been in education in some way since graduation from Purdue University in 1996. Most of this has been in science or agriculture. During that time I have been active in leadership development and public speaking as a coach, instructor and evaluator.After two incredible opportunities in the agribusiness sector I returned to education as the Program Chair for the Agriculture Department at the Richmond (Indiana) campus of IVY Tech Community College.Now I am stepping into some new to me territory - teaching English/Speech at Connersville High School and starting 1813 Professionalism Group. 1813 is a consulting service focusing on leadership development, team building, speaking/interviewing skills and professional writing (resumes, cover letters and grants).Specialties: Teaching, Communication, Organizing, Public Speaking, Leadership Development
