Aside from accounting for all the parts and fuel used for our fleet of 70+ aircraft, I also have my hand in other aspects of our business. I have successfully negotiated with our largest vendor to reduce our debt by more than 35% for savings near $400,000. I also work closely with our IT staff in continuous development of our in-house custom inventory tracking software. At the end of each calendar year, I make sure that our $8,000,000+ worth of inventory is counted, reconciled, and accurate. I have also worked in conjunction with the Controller to determine an accurate Direct Operating Cost (DOC) for our different types of helicopters to help us more accurately bid operation contracts in the future. It is also my responsibility from time to time to work closely with senior management on large multimillion bid proposals by handling the calculations of potential price changes using a custom made Excel spreadsheet. All in all, I work in accounting, IT, inventory, sales & marketing, and anything else I need to do to make sure this company moves forward.

My wife and I own and operate Speech Bubble, LLC. We work with the Early Steps program in Louisiana to provide speech therapy at the homes of children ages 0-3. Therapy in this natural environment helps these children "catch up" to the peer group faster so they can live a happier and healthier life. Speech Language Pathology is used for much more than just late talkers. SLP's help in many areas from disorders to feeding and communication across a variety of devices. I have been contracted out to "fix things" and "make it right." This has involved re-organizing the accounting/financials of the company, developing a new maintenance plan for the community, supervising and directing the maintenance staff, developing a workable budget, analyze/research other similar business, and anything else the community needs to have done. After a brief stint getting the organization on track, I hired a Property Manager to take over on a full time basis.

What started out as an internship turned into being promoted 3 levels as an executive recruiter. For the majority of my time, I worked in the commercial construction industry. Toward the end of my time at MRG, I worked in the healthcare industry as that was the most profitable division of the company.
