Throughout, my focus has remained the same: Fulfill the customer's needs.I lead a thriving organization of associates who aren't afraid to act on groundbreaking ideas. Discovery is where it begins: Identify a challenge and take it on as a team. That’s how we brought in new customers, by tuning in to consumer needs and feedback. We took what we learned and turned Nationwide Pet into a high-growth business -- reinvigorating and diversifying the product suite, adding more range, services, and price points -- while significantly increasing profits and returns. I am now back in Columbus, taking it to the next level. My responsibility is to articulate a vision across the breadth of the business: finance, operations, marketing, sales, and leadership development. To execute, I assembled a team who learn quickly, move boldly and carry out our strategic vision. I look for those who can:• bring confidence and experience to their roles;• adapt to change and do things differently; and • make an emotional connection. Balance is important to me, and to my team. I caught the travel bug early on thanks to my time in international development, so it's no surprising I roam far from the office to unwind.
