Prior to acquisition by MasTec, WesTower was the largest self-performing telecommunications tower build provider in North America. I led the Corporate Systems Delivery team and later led/performed merger integration activities related to technology applications and operations.In my first four months prior to the merger, I hired a team and partnered with Finance, HR, Legal and Supply Chain to: * Automate the AP invoice acquisition and approval process by implementing TimberScan, which reduced labor costs, improved controls and added an audit trail for payments.* Implement a company intranet and collaboration portal on SharePoint/Yammer/OneDrive to enable the company to scale and reduce risk of losing data. (Previously the company used regional desktop servers to store files and had no centralized communication or file storage.)* Build a supply chain systems team and process to address warehouse inventory issues such as reducing a large quantity on hand (QoH) and reducing physical inventory counts.* Initiate a centralized data repository on the Amazon platform to increase the speed of executive information and to reduce performance issues on production applications.

Clearwire was a $1.2B revenue company that provided high-speed 4G mobile broadband service to over 130 million people in more than 70 cities across the United States. Clearwire was acquired by Sprint in 2013 and I led the systems integration efforts through and beyond the close of the merger. (Note: Sprint was later acquired by T-Mobile.)With Sprint, I was responsible for Clearwire’s IT department, which included the IT Applications, Operations and Transition teams. I was also responsible for CAPEX and OPEX budgeting, forecasting and tracking of spend for all systems and headcount.Previous roles at Clearwire included leading the Finance/HR IT Systems, IT Operations/Application Hosting, Corporate IT Systems, Oracle E-Business Suite and Business Intelligence teams.
