About Scott Lutschini

An enthusiastic and dedicated trades person, with a broad spectrum of achievements, now working as a workshop planner.Directly after completing my HSC, I commenced an apprenticeship resulting in 8 years of practical, hands on experience as a Fitter and Machinist working for Jarvie Engineering in Newcastle. This role gave me the insight and fundamentals in an industry where I decided to expand my knowledge and further my expertise into the field of engineering within the mining industry. After exposure to engineering I have decided to return to my original trade with hopes that my engineering skills will allow me to progress my career into positions with more responsibility.I am intelligent, highly analytical and possess sound technical skills which have enabled me to grasp new concepts, processes and an understanding of new equipment quickly; as a result I have naturally led and guided less knowledgeable apprentices and tradesman to improve their understanding and skill set.My key strengths are my sound technical skills, my ability to assess situations, diagnose problems quickly and recommend solutions and improvements to processes and projects, which has been commended and respected by engineering teams. I have proven attention to detail, accuracy and sound analytical skills, complemented by strong communication and interpersonal skills whilst working as part of a team and across cultural boundaries. I consider myself to be a multi-skilled professional with a commitment to ongoing professional development and a determination to achieve operational excellence.
