As MD I am responsible for all aspects of our regulated business in Ireland including activities spanning Mortgage Origination & Servicing, Workout Services, Structured Finance, Bank Outsourcing and Government & Local Agency mandates.

As Chief Operating Officer, I am accountable for all elements of operational performance across BCMGlobal ASI business in Ireland and Italy. I strive to proactively enable the business to achieve our growth ambitions while ensuring high quality services are delivered to our clients and customers. This involves driving strategic transformational changes across the business while delivering continued enhancement of our Operations model. I also have oversight of a number of Group Functions such as Legal and IT amongst others on behalf of the BCMGlobal ASI business.

As Head of Strategy I worked closely with the Executive Team and Board Members to develop global strategic plans for existing and new jurisdictions. Strategy is not just about the formulation of 3-5 year plans but also the effective execution of the strategy agenda. I was charged with ensuring delivery our business propositions in existing jurisdictions and maximise opportunities in these countries. I was also responsible for the strategic assessment of emerging markets along with challenging ourselves to bring new services to market for the benefit of our clients around the globe as we strive to be global leaders in end to end credit management and outsourcing solutions.

As Head of Business Integration I was responsible for leading the transformation, on-boarding and integration of strategically important contracts across bank outsourcing, loan origination and loan servicing mandates. I led large teams spanning Programmes & Change, IT, Operations, Case Management and Support Services to ensure programmes were delivered effectively from a people, systems and services perspective. I also worked closely with the Senior Team to identify synergies and efficiencies across the broader business to ensure continuous improvement of our Operating Model.

I led a team of 150+ colleagues with responsibility for all Primary Services activities within the business including the fulfillment of all operational activities, operational effectiveness, strategy development, risk management and service delivery.I was instrumental in the successful delivery of all strategic changes within the business as I had responsibility for leading all tactical and transformational change programmes. I was directly accountable to senior client stakeholders for the performance of commercial agreements and the associated contract reporting. I was responsible for the continuous improvement of all services for both internal customers and external clients and for ensuring that the business exceeded performance and cost targets. Reporting to a company shareholder I played a key role in advising and supporting Executive Directors in the strategic planning required to over achieve on business objectives and was the Chair of the Certus Business Continuity Management Programme & Certus Crisis Management Committee.

I had responsibility for the development and implementation of all strategic plans including business, financial and operational plans for a 500 strong team managing commercial loans with a combined value of €30bn. I successfully led the contract negotiations for a number of high profile contracts including LBG, NAMA, PTSB & AIB contracts and directed the onboarding activities for these contracts. I led the design, development and the embedding of sophisticated activity tracking and performance reporting delivering a real performance led culture resulting in maximum contract bonus for Certus every year since 2011 without any material risk events. I had accountability for all business projects along with the overall change agenda and delivered c€2m p.a. efficiency savings.

I led the design and development of strategic business and change agendas for the Retail and Intermediary businesses. I drove transformational change with a focus on operational and sales delivery while maximising resource utilisation and productivity across an 800 strong team. My role expanded to include the Business Banking division in 2009 where my key responsibility was to lead the re-engineering of the overall business operating model and business strategy to reflect the changing banking landscape. As part of this I led the programme to implement the Business Support Unit within BoSI and was also responsible for the development of arrears/collections analytics designed to drive improved understanding of borrower behaviours.

Reporting to a Group Executive, I was responsible for the design and development of a number of key strategic new business projects which formed part of the overall BoI Group Strategy forum. During this period I also led the sales and marketing division for the BoI Insurance Services business and was accountable for the delivery of all sales and marketing activity along with product development, pricing and customer relationship management.

Selected to lead a number of retail branches with responsibility for overall profit performance of the branches. I was accountable for driving sales, managing costs and margin together with the management of the compliance and audit agendas. I led a team of 40 Colleagues and had first line supervision for all regulated and non regulated staff within the branches. Winner of Bristol Retail Sales Manager of the Year Award 2004/5.

Accountable for managing all Insurance and Investment activities and targets for a number of retail and commercial branches. Exceeded targets on all product lines, Top 10 Manager Nationally and ranked No. 1 New Starter.

Supported the set up of the Irish office and led the administration of a large number of complex funds including Hedge Funds.

Responsible for all aspects of sole trader business – sales, systems etc. to bring company to a point of successful sale.
