Position: Post-doctoral Research AssociateLead modeler on a regional observation system simulation experiment (OSSE) in collaboration with scientists from NOAA ESRL, AOML, NASA, and the U. of Miami. This experiment included utilizing both the WRF-ARW and H-WRF to simulate hurricane structure and environments. Synthetically derived experimental instrument measurements were assimilated into these models to determine their level of added value.
