As an Offshore Operations Supervisor I am primarily responsible for the following. Attending HIRA's for future projects.Running projects in an offshore capacity, interacting with clients whilst making sure their expectations are met throughout the offshore phase of the project. Carrying out daily reports and liaising between both onshore and offshore parties. Carry out toolbox talks, Risk Assessments. Making sure all certification, hydraulic hose and spare parts registers are kept up to date. Experienced in working under pressure and to tight deadlines.Mobilise our pool of modular reel drive systems, tensioners and carousel. Operate all equipment and carry out full function tests to the clients specifications. • Fully trained in permit to work systems, toolbox talks, risk assessments. Computer literate using MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Experienced in report writing. • Very efficient in fault finding/trouble shooting, reading electrical schematics. Working with both AC and DC voltages as well as single and 3 phase systems.• Experienced in hydraulic control gear and drive systems, reading hydraulic schematics and fault finding. • Fully Conversant with all types of wiring systems (metal and plastic) including Pyro, FP200/400, SWA, SY, YY, Twin and Earth. Glanding (plastic, SWA and EX), Terminating and Bonding. Also carrying out periodic inspection and testing.• Vast knowledge of switch gear up to 1000v, control circuits (relays, timers, emergency stop circuits), motor starters (DOL, Star/Delta), Soft Start Systems (Inverters), AC and DC electric motors, panel building and circuit design.• Experience with most types of containment systems such as Ladder Rack, Cable Tray, Basket Tray, Metal and Plastic Conduit Systems, Unistrut and Pipe work.• Maintenance and all round repairs of generators as well as AC/DC motor strip down overhaul and maintenance both mechanical and electrical.• Inspections of Equipment/Systems for defects and maintaining records to ensure reliability, Testing and restoring after wrong-side failures, performing remedial alteration/modification of restore systems and recommending safety improvements.
