Throughout my career I have demonstrated my literacy expertise: becoming a National Board Certified Teacher in Literacy, and recently achieving Recertification; earning my Master’s Degree with a literacy specialization; and becoming a Reading Recovery Teacher Leader. I am responsible for designing and leading professional development, coaching, and teaching graduate literacy classes. As an experienced interventionist, I have extensive knowledge about research-based interventions and assessments such as running records, Observation Survey, Aims Web, PALS, and FastBridge. I present regularly at regional and national conferences. In 2019, I presented at the Literacy for All Conference in Providence, RI and the National Reading Recovery & K-6 Literacy Conference in Columbus, Ohio.
