Veteran Teacher with Diverse Teaching ExperienceI am a dedicated educator with a decade and a half of experience teaching a wide variety of subjects, including social studies, career preparedness, math, and business. History is my preference, but I am flexible. I aim to foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and social-emotional skills in my students through innovative instructional approaches.As a classroom teacher, I have taught in-person, online, and hybrid settings from eighth grade to high school seniors and college freshmen, including remedial, on- level, dual enrollment and AP courses. I have developed engaging, standards-aligned courses at every level and in every field.Outside the classroom, I have served as an unofficial faculty advisor for extracurricular activities. I have also coached football and wrestling teams (with wrestling, I was primarily the strength coach), and driven a bus route to and from school each day and to extracurriculars and field trips.
