I began my career in one of the bond markets' worst times. In 1994 bonds struggled as interest rates were raised significantly. Then came the internet boom and bust and the lost decade of the 2000's. I helped manage the wealth of families and businesses throughout these good times and bad. With my clients, I emphasize asset allocation and total portfolio management with a focus on retirement income planning; I also help them with education funding, structures for charitable giving and estate investment planning. I am FINRA-registered and hold Series 6, 7, 9, 10, 24, 63 and 65 securities registrations as well as licenses for life, health and long-term care insurance and variable annuities. My Bachelor's of Business Administration degree is from Ohio University where I double majored in Finance and International Business with a concentration in Japanese. I am a former adjunct Professor at Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC). I am the former Cross Country coach at Marvin Ridge Middle School. I also enjoy golf, running, and reading. My wife, Jennifer, and I live and play at The Club at Longview in Marvin, NC.
