I joined BCIT in 2002. I am the Institute Photographer within the Marketing and Communications Department collaborating with every school and nearly every department at BCIT. Through weekly contact with students, employees, faculty and external stakeholders, I enjoy a wide perspective on the administrative, educational, industry and government responsibilities of BCIT.Previous to BCIT, I worked as a corporate and editorial photographer in Montreal, Sales Coordinator and Retail Supervisor as well as Part Time Ski Instructor at Blackcomb/Whistler. I have also been a Business Analyst/Writer for a local Vancouver law firm specializing in immigration law.I have served on the Board of the Canadian Association of Professional Image Creators, volunteered as a wilderness instructor with at-risk youth and am currently the Staff representative on the BCIT Board of Governors.I have a Bachelor in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, with concentrations in Marketing Strategy and Organizational Behaviour and a Diploma with Honours in Professional Photography from Dawson College in Montreal. I have a Certificate in Leadership from The Chair Academy and have completed Not For Profit Governance Essentials, a program jointly developed by the Institute of Corporate Directors and the Rotman School of Management.
