As a CFP® practitioner, a graduate of Brigham Young University, Scott has spent more than 20 years advising clients as they plan for their financial future. Bilingual in Spanish and English, he holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 53, 63, 66 registrations and a Group 1 insurance license. Scott has continued his education and received the CPFA, Certified Plan Financial Advisor as well.These licenses and registrations and certifications and more than 20 years of experience give him the depth of knowledge to keep his clients informed on all the most suitable options for their specific needs. Scott takes a proactive approach to serving his clients. They don't have to wonder and they don't have to call him; he sees to it that they always know what is going on with their financial plan.Scott and his wife Carrie have four children, ages 12-19, who keep them very busy. He has remained active within his community over the years serving on the Garland Chamber of Commerce board including as Chair of the board in 2018 and gives a lot of his time volunteering with the Garland ISD Education Foundation as a board member and Chairman of the Board. Previously he served on the board of Baylor Scott & White Garland Hospital. Additionally, he has served as a Bishop for his congregation with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
