About Scott Mcnamee, Mba

Growing up, I always envisioned myself being a park ranger that would get a job working in one of the big parks, driving around in a green truck with my dog riding shotgun. I took all of the science courses I could in high school and continued that same passion in college. After five short years in college, I had my degree in environmental biology, and I was also newly married and needed a job.That led me to my first job right out of college at SkyTel, an emerging telecommunication company in Jackson, Mississippi. At SkyTel, the opportunities for learning new jobs and roles were limitless. Like my passion for science, I quickly embraced technology and how it could be used to make our lives easier.Fast forward almost 30 years in the industry, and my infatuation with technology has stayed the same. I am like a kid in a candy store with new and emerging technology; I can’t get enough. When this chapter of my life is done, I will return to my original plan and find a place in nature.“And into the woods I go, to lose my mind and find my soul.” ― John Muir.
