Creating memorable and meaningful event and festival experiences is Meghan's passion-driven purpose. Meghan's professional background is primarily in Event, Festival, and Music Administration and Management. Over the past fifteen years she has played key roles in opening a brand new Performing Arts Centre (Light House Arts Centre), in organizing and executing various festivals, such as the Halifax Urban Folk Festival, the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival, the Sawdust City Music Festival and many more. Earlier in her career, Meghan managed numerous East Coast musicians and bands, managed music producers and a renowned recording studio, was the Marketing Manager for a cultural arts centre, and was instrumental in helping artists and events receive hundreds of thousands of dollars in project funding. Although much of her experience stems from the Arts & Culture sector, Meghan has worked with numerous non-profit organizations, businesses and corporations, and individuals in various event-related capacities: fundraisers, milestone celebrations, venue openings, and much more. Meghan attended St Thomas University in Fredericton, NB where she received a Double Major in Communications (minor in Journalism) and Human Rights (minor in Political Science). She also has a History degree from the University of New Brunswick.
