I am a seasoned executive with 30+ years of derivative’s experience. I have extensive trading experience and can identify and mitigate trading, credit, operational and regulatory risks, through the introduction of technology solutions. I am considered an expert in risk mitigation techniques from both a mathematical and theoretical perspective. Major projects I have led have resulted in increased revenues, reduced costs and lowered trading, operational and implementation risks. I am a proven problem solver, change and project leader who has managed International teams through major technology transformations in the financial services industry.I spent two decades as the Chief Dealer for Credit Lyonnais Rouse, running its 24-hour Metals and F/X trading desk. As Chief dealer I traveled extensively, marketing the trading desk and building relationships in the trading community. I had full responsibility for P+L, staffing and the growth of the trading desk. As the 20th century came to a close, I became interested in Technology that can be used to benefit trading desks. I spent the next 15 years as Technology Director for Bache Commodities. As this transition continues, I am now a passionate purveyor of transformation and disruption through the use of Distributed Ledgers, Blockchain technology and AutomationI have been applying my trading and technology talents and my passion for Blockchain technology to Co-Found Blockchain Strategies and Innovations (BCSI). BCSI advises and assists incumbents looking to learn, experiment and implement blockchain solutions. While working on building the BCSI practice, I was recruited to be the CEO of Orebits Corp. a startup, and one of the world’s first Asset Digitization companies. The success of Orebits Asset Digitization model allowed for the digitization of over one billion dollars of Unrefined Gold and proved without a doubt that the market for Digitized Assets had not only been born but was ready for its wider debut in the financial markets!
