The transaction was led by leading private markets investors, Neuberger Berman and Blackstone Strategic Partners. This $400 million GenNx360 Aerospace Fund will allow PAG to aggressively pursue its organic growth initiatives and acquisition strategy.Before PAG, Scott was the CFO of Heritage Distribution, a rapidly growing HVACR Distribution platform with over $800M of revenues. He helped drive significant growth (both organic and inorganic) in the business, as it had less than $200M in revenues when he joined. Within a year of starting, Scott helped prepare the business for sale and supported the sell-side process and diligence. In December 2022, a definitive sales agreement was announced with Beijer Ref, a large international HVACR Distributor based in Sweden, agreeing to purchase Heritage Distribution for over one billion US Dollars. The deal closed on January 20, 2023.Scott began his career at GE, where he participated in their prestigious financial management training programs (FMP and CAS) and held several roles of progressive responsibility including work in financial planning and analysis and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).He earned his CPA / CMA designations along with MBA and Master’s in Accounting degrees.
